Since I have only one leg, I understand that well. Disabled does not mean less abled. It often is much more though what that man or woman has overcome to accomplish what they have. I think in a way I could relate to those patients. My family is really proud of me for working at Mayo. And I feel honored that of all the people interviewed who want to do what I'm doing, I was the one they chose. I'm honored that Mayo wants me to be part of the staff.
